Canning Peaches

A few months ago, I purchased a Groupon (a new coupon site) to Lane Orchard in Warner Robins, GA. I had planned to use my $10 groupon for 10 lbs of strawberries, but that never worked out. So, on my way to visit friends in Valdosta, I stopped by Lane and used my $10 to purchase 25 lbs of peaches! The cashier told me to give them 3 days to ripen before eating them. So, when I got home to Gainesville, I had 25 lbs (approx 7 dozen) peaches. Mom and I researched on the internet, bought some supplies, and spent a few hours canning our peaches. We've made a delicious peach cobbler and have eaten a few cans. The rest we now have on hand to eat or cook with whenever we want. I took a few pictures to prove I was helping and to show the pretty cans of peaches.
