I know I'm a little out of chronological order, BUT here is a fabulous quote I found on facebook and our pictures from the airport when Russell came home. They photos were taken by my friend and photographer, Susan Fowler of Fowler Photo.
"My child is a military dependent. He will have to move often and make new friends wherever we go. He has spent holidays and birthdays with only one parent and some dependents do that with no extended family in sight. He is brave and strong; like his country. People have asked "How can you do that to him?" and I say, "How can I not? Someone has to protect our freedom and rescue our loved ones." He is proud of his military parent!"
