This is our first house that we ever bought...and our last house that we buy for a LONG time...
In the October of 2006 we moved to Cheyenne, Wyoming. After determining how much money we spent on renting apartments over the last 5 years, we decided that we should buy a house. After all, we were going to live there for 3-4 years. We got a great house for us and a decent price and what we thought was a great loan for first time home buyers.
Fast-forward 22 months to August of 2008. We move to Ohio. For the next 18 months we live in Ohio. We learn some lessons about our unsold house in Wyoming and our "wonderful loan." Our loan does not allow us to rent our home without special permission. Our house that has been on the market since April of 2008 is not going to sell in this economy.
April 2010, we move to Virginia. Still learning lessons. GOD is FAITHFUL. Prayer is necessary. Budgeting is a must. Couponing is a game that truly pays off.
1 month ago, Feburary 2011 - God blesses us with a buyer
2 Weeks ago, March 2011 - Our house is SOLD!!!
Today - we are happily homeless and debt free!
Praise to be God! He is faithful and answers our prayers.
